Introduction to RACP for Certification Bodies

The RACP, accessed via MyRA, is the central system that supports certification bodies in managing audits and certification decisions under the Rainforest Alliance 2020 Certification Program. It was designed to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency across all certification activities. By using RACP, certification bodies can carry out their responsibilities with greater accuracy and accountability, while contributing to the credibility of the certification process.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Conduct and document audits: Enter audit findings directly into RACP, ensuring that all evidence and results are captured in a standardized format.
  • Submit certification decisions: Record and finalize certification outcomes, including approvals, suspensions, or withdrawals, directly within the platform.
  • Manage compliance data: Track non‑conformities, corrective actions, and follow‑up measures to maintain alignment with Rainforest Alliance requirements.
  • Access and share information: Use RACP as a central hub to exchange data with producers, supply chain actors, and the Rainforest Alliance, ensuring transparency.
  • Support integrity and oversight: Strengthen the credibility of certification by ensuring that all decisions are documented, traceable, and aligned with program standards.

For Certification Bodies, RACP is not just a technical tool, it is the backbone of the certification process.

It enables you to:
  • Apply consistent procedures across audits and certification decisions.
  • Ensure that certification outcomes are based on documented evidence.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the broader mission of sustainability by upholding rigorous certification standards.
