Welcome to the e-page MultiTrace User Guidance - for Members.

On this e-page you will find guidance on how to use MultiTrace, the new traceability system of the Rainforest Alliance (UTZ Certified), including: quick start guides, instruction videos, training webinars, checklists and templates.

Currently, MultiTrace is only being used in the Coffee and Hazelnut program by both members and certification bodies. 

Licenses for the Coffee and Hazelnut program are requested through MultiTrace. 

Prior to getting a license, an audit needs to be scheduled in MultiTrace. Please get in touch with your Certification Body to schedule the audit in the system.

1.2. Do I need to register?

Existing UTZ member

If you are already a member of the (pre-merger UTZ) program, you will not need to register in MultiTrace. Your existing GIP account data and volumes will be migrated to MultiTrace. 

Please note that farmer lists (for producing group members) will not be migrated. 

New log in data

MultiTrace is not accessible with your existing GIP (Good Inside Portal) credentials. Users are migrated to MultiTrace with their associated email address. For security reasons a new password will be generated and sent via email to you, which you then can amend after your first login to MultiTrace.

New member

If you want to join the RA/UTZ Coffee or Hazelnut program, you need to register in MultiTrace. Only after you are registered and have obtained a valid license, you are allowed to buy and sell RA/UTZ certified products. Please see chapter 3 "Registration" if you need to register your company in MultiTrace.

If your company was already registered by one of your colleagues, you do not need to register your company again. The administrator of the account can add you as a new user under the Users tab in their profile. Please see chapter 4.1 "Add Users".
