Anyone in the world

I am sure you have heard the expression “When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade”.

Being positive about what you have got and making the most of it can be a real help to achieving success.

2 ways to look at it

Imagine now that someone has handed you the lemon. You could just think, “What use is a lemon to me?” or you could think “I can make lemonade with this”.

It’s up to you what you think of a particular situation. You can either look at it in a positive way or a negative way, but at the end of the day the choice is yours.

Think positive

Being positive is not automatically going to bring you success. However, when you think about it logically, if you have the choice between thinking positive and negative, which one is going to help you more in life?

Being negative is only going to bring you down. You can’t think negatively and expect to see great results. On the other hand thinking positive at least gives you a fighting chance of getting a good result.

Imagine this…

Imagine you are about to talk to a girl, but all you can think about is how you are going to fail miserably. This is not going to inspire confidence in yourself and thus you are probably going to get cold feet very quickly. In fact there is a good chance you are not going to approach at all.

Imagine the same scenario. This time however, you are thinking that everything is going to go great. You are thinking that nothing will go wrong and that you are staring success in the face. You are going to be more confident and you will much more likely approach.

Which one sounds better to you?

I hope you can see that having the positive mindset wins hands-down. In the case above, having a positive mindset might be the difference between approaching and not approaching. Therefore being positive could be the difference between success and failure.

Also it doesn’t take any extra work really to think more positive. If you keep thinking positive then it becomes a habit. Once you have that habit built it’s very hard to change. It’s a great habit to build I am sure you will agree.
